A reminder, as in an earlier post, the book of Judges is important to review in this hour. This is a little overview of what it’s about:
Why is Judges so important?
The time of the judges brought about great apostasy in Israel. The nation underwent political and religious turmoil as the people tried to possess those parts of the land that had not yet been fully conquered. The tribes fought among themselves, as well, nearly wiping out the tribes of Manasseh (Judges 12) and Benjamin (Judges 20–21). The pattern of behavior in the book of Judges is clear: the people rebelled through idolatry and disbelief, God brought judgment through foreign oppression, God raised up a deliverer—or judge, and the people repented and turned back to God. When the people fell back into sin, the cycle started over again.

God is testing many in this process. He is looking at spiritual Israel and many in this hour. Canaan’s ways was the foreign oppression at the time of Judges. Oppression in Hebrew means: calamity, treat violently, affliction, wrong, prison, barren, distress, robbery, fraud, and deceit. Baal will not prevail (as this was one of their gods). These are the ways of ‘Canaan’. Idolatry is the largest problem. Repent of all idolatry in your hearts. For there is One God!
This is a time of great cleansing coming. God has a great deliverance coming. However, brace yourselves Body, cover yourselves in the blood of Jesus, for God is about to set a great fire.
And who can withstand it?
Nahum 1:6 Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him
But do you believe? Is it about people’s idols and their lack of submission to a holy God? Yes, and God WILL deal with it.
Praise Him in this hour. The hour of battling between kingdom and kingdom. I hear this anthem warfare song in the Spirit playing.
