Since Yesterday Our Son Has Kept Saying The Term, “Look Up!”

LOOK UP!!!

Since yesterday our son has kept saying the term, “look up!” I knew God was speaking and oftentimes he has used our son to speak prophetic things because that’s his gift (Joel 2:28). The Lord wanted me to elaborate on the term because it has many definitions, and there are people out there He is wanting to speak to, which is connected to this term.

Definitions/Interpretations:

1) To turn one’s gaze or attention from something else, by lifting ones’ head or turning their eyes upward

God is sharing with some of you that your attention has been focused on other things before Him and He’s wanting you to get your eyes back on Him. Look to Him or look ‘up’ to Him and not another for what direction to go.

Psalm 34:5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

Isa. 45:22 “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.

Psalm 123:1 To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens!

2) To perform a search for particular information

God is saying to some of you that He wants you to search Him out further, or also, search out a matter further in Him.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

Deut. 29:29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.

3) To contact someone, often if you’re in the same area that they are in.

There are people that the Lord has been pressing upon to reach out to others. Perhaps their name has ‘come across your mind’ often. Many times people think it’s just coincidence or nothing, but it can be Him trying to show you something about that person, to pray for that person, or to reach out to them because He is either doing something with them in some way, or wants you to connect to them in some way for His purposes. Press in in prayer to see exactly what the Lord wants you to do, but DON’T BLOW IT OFF any further. There’s a reason why He keeps bringing them up.

4) To improve or when things become better

This definition pertains to a group that God is telling you, “things are about to get better.” Perhaps you’ve been in a great battle for a very long time and relief is about to be released, or even a healing of sorts. Some of you are in a heart struggle within and just cannot overcome what you’re trying to get away from. Well, your time is drawing near for your salvation from that darkness.

Luke 21:28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

Isa. 12:1 You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.

So, in encouragement to you today, look up!!! Hear what the Spirit is saying…
