REPENT

January 22, 2021

In the last couple of days the Lord has put this on my heart and it’s a VERY important message to share for those of the older generations. REPENT!!

Ezek. 18:19-21

19 “Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live. 20 The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.

The Lord was very clear about what I am about to say here. He is very angry with those of the older generation that have not truly repented of their wicked ways. For too long He has watched for MANY years, those of the older generation (that knew things of the Lord that was taught to them) ‘sit back and watch’ and EVEN come into the agreement of the great harlotries before the Lord going on around them. I saw many that have come to a point of pretty much ‘giving up’ so to say because they feel either, they’re entitled to sit back and ‘enjoy their latter years’ before they pass. I saw many that have squandered away and have never lifted a finger to help those that God has put before them because they think, “it’s mine! I earned it!” (I am not saying give to all that ask, BUT there have been MANY TIMES God has put on peoples’ hearts to help others and they have just walked on by). I saw many that have got themselves fattened in pleasures of ‘retirement’ and continued to feed themselves and overindulged before a suffering generation behind them walking blindly to their death with no direction and no one speaking the Truth to them because they have compromised themselves before a holy God. I saw others fearful to step forth in faith in fear that they’d lose their assistance financially. All these things have become a stench in God’s nostrils. I saw many that stuck their noses in the air at those He has sent to them in Truth, and said instead to them, “I have need of nothing. I know God.” When instead they are in need of all things. They’ve become stubborn, unteachable, and hard-headed in their ways only trying to save their own lives (or keep things the way they want for their own gain), and never gaining the higher life.

The Lord has not been pleased with the actions of many in the older generation. They have continued to grumble before the Lord in their lack of faith and their increased fear of man. After some time the Lord got fed up with it.

Num. 14:26-35

26 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron: 27 “How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. 28 So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: 29 IN THIS WILDERNESS YOUR BODIES WILL FALL—EVERY ONE OF YOU TWENTY YEARS OLD OR MORE WHO WAS COUNTED IN THE CENSUS AND WHO HAS GRUMBLED AGAINST ME. 30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun. 31 As for your children that you said would be taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land you have rejected. 32 But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness. 33 Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. 34 For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.’ 35 I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me. They will meet their end in this wilderness; here they will die.”

The thing is, after Moses shared this with this wicked generation, they turned around with bitterness and decided, “Now we’re going to fight!” The sad thing is, it took Moses to point out to them their wrongdoing and their lack of faith in the power of God. They decided to take matters into their own hands and fight BUT God wasn’t with them (Num. 14:39-45). They PRESUMED they had God with them. This was their error.

Many in the older generation believe God is with them ‘because of what they learned, maybe even as a child, of God.’ BUT the matter is, they may have learned it but haven’t truly believed it AND worse, they have allowed so much to occur in the following generations behind them, and never said a word. They sat and continue to sit and watch them be sent to the slaughter and enslavement. However, God has a remnant among the younger generations behind them, that have not backed away in cowardice acts and in fear of man. They will rise up and enter into God’s promises. God will remove all those that will not truly repent of their stubborn ways. They have put the burden of Egypt upon the shoulders of those behind them BUT this is what the Lord says:

Josh. 5:9

9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So the place has been called Gilgal to this day.

This marks the day of Gilgal, REPENT. God will put an end to the ways of men that have continued to wander and never truly come to His submission. Do not forget. God has done this before and He will do it again. God has raised up sons in their place and THEY SHALL BE CALLED THE SONS OF GOD:

Josh. 5:2-8

2 At that time the LORD said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again.” 3 So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelites at Gibeath Haaraloth. 4 Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of military age—died in the wilderness on the way after leaving Egypt. 5 All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born in the wilderness during the journey from Egypt had not. 6 The Israelites had moved about in the wilderness forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the LORD. For the LORD had sworn to them that they would not see the land he had solemnly promised their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey. 7 So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised. They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way. 8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed.

The death of many are coming for those that truly do not repent.

Many will be overcome by this great act that God will allow, in order that His people can move forward without any more burdens on them. They will run from the snares of the fowler and the hands of the hunter. He will deliver His sons but woe to those that continue in their stubbornness before a holy God.

Ps. 91:3

Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly plague.
