Over the past few weeks, I’ve been feeling this great heaviness in my spirit, and much of what I can describe it as is, mourning. The other term the Lord gave me about it was ‘great sorrow.’ This scripture came to mind:
I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit— 2 I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race, 4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. 5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” 8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring. 9 For this was how the promise was stated: “At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”
We have finally hit a point in the Spirit where people will see where they stand with the Lord and WHO THEY ARE TO HIM. Notice, Paul had great anguish over Israel; he was realizing the cutting off of the people of Israel from Christ. Really read what is said in the following scriptures below in verses 6-8. NOT ALL WHO ARE DESCENDED FROM ISRAEL ARE ISRAEL. That means not everyone that’s from Israel are actual people from Israel. He’s saying that people could be considered in the spirit realm a part of Israel, even if they’re not from the bloodline/flesh of Israel, may not be His. Remember, at this time Israel did not believe that Christ was the Messiah. They were believers of the Law but had not come to know who the Messiah was. There are people, not of Israel that are considered as if they are of Israel BECAUSE OF THIS, their inability to receive the Messiah truly, even though He’s come to them over and over and they even know the scriptures and attend church, BUT they have not truly received Him. Then there’s the other side of this…it’s not based off physical descent, it’s based off the promise, THE ONES THAT WERE PERSECUTED BY THE ONES BORN OF THE FLESH (Gal. 4:28). These ones persecuted are considered the freed ones by God, the ones that have His true Seed in them. I am not saying the persecution is what considers you part of the promise. What I am saying is, the ones that have been blessed (WHICH MEANS THE ONES JESUS CAME TO PERSONALLY AND THEY THEN, FULLY TURNED AWAY FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, (Acts 3:24-26). This turning requires: being humble before a holy God, Spirit led prayer, constantly seeking His face (which really means His favor or His ways on how He sees fit to handle things), and ACTUALLY turning from the wicked things you do (2Chron. 7:14). This is the promise and those that truly have His Seed have this or have been working on it sincerely.
I say these things in order that you understand what’s to come. Not all who call on Him are His. I know others would argue and throw out this scripture, Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” However, look at the context. He was connecting it to Romans 9. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, confirming what was said earlier. A bloodline won’t save you, nor the fact that you know scripture and attend church (the spiritual Israelites). It’s the Seed in you that’s been placed by His promise, that when He comes, you will hear and receive His message wholeheartedly. Jesus made it clear:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Two days ago I heard the Lord declare, “Man! Today is the day, your day of judgement!” It has begun and will continue to speed up, the day of MAN’S judgement. When I say man, I mean people that walk in the flesh in ANY form. Those deeds will be burned up and destroyed. This is where mankind will find out where they really stand before the Lord. Some that are behind, which have His Seed, will realize their state and truly repent, but those that do not have His Seed will continue on into destruction and eventually death. God chose His Seed, His only Son, and He also chose His seed, His children—they didn’t choose Him. HE CHOSE THEM (John 15:16; John 6:70). Many will say this is not just or fair, but didn’t He do the same thing at the time of the Old Testament? Did He not choose the Israelites then, to be His people? (Heb. 13:8) Why would He not choose His sons/daughters? The knowing of who you are whether His or not will increase and overtake.
I saw an increase in earthquakes. He was calling forth faults to break all over the world. I saw a great war in the heavenlies. I saw heaven warring against all flesh. He was clear on shutting doors that no man could open, and He said, “only Mine will be able to open them.” I saw Him cover His own by His blood as He passes through to execute. He said these exact words to His own, “Nestle in Me.” To nestle means: to build/occupy as a nest, make a nest. This is also connected to abiding in Him. I also had gotten the connection between the ‘hiding in the cleft of the rock’ (Ex. 33:21-23; See also Foundational Truth: The Narrow Place. The Lord was very specific for His children to wait in this position. Even though it may look terrible all around, the humiliation is necessary. Continue building your nest within Him, within His fortress.
