A swarm of locusts surrounds the Egyptian inspired resort in Las Vegas? This article states all this and relates it Biblically, but this is no joke. God is saying something here. He is about to bring forth judgment in Las Vegas, and He’s warning them. They say that the locusts are drawn to the light beam coming out of the resort, but there’s more to it. God is warning against idolatry and to those that worship the sun or are connected to the ‘sun god.’ The judgments are coming if there is no repentance.
“And beware not to lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.
And he brought me into the inner court of the house of the LORD. And behold, at the entrance of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs to the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east, worshiping the sun toward the east.
“At that time,” says the Lord, “they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves. They shall spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served and after which they have walked, which they have sought and which they have worshiped. They shall not be gathered nor buried; they shall be like refuse on the face of the earth.
