Many believe God’s grace is an excuse to sin and He never runs out of it, that they can continue on in their ways in disobedience. However, God gives a clear message and example of His grace running out:
Amos 8:11 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.”
Many that continue to hear but do not obey, have assumed He will continue to speak forever to them. But that’s not the case in continuous rebellion. He will instead be quiet. What will you do instead? The things you hunger and thirst for now instead of Him, will not satisfy you and He won’t either. The result is no different from what Christ felt on the cross when God forsook Him. The separation will be unbearable…
