God the Mighty Fortress, Provider and Judge

December 11, 2020

A couple of nights ago the Lord revealed some things in prayer which He wanted to release:

He is the Mighty Fortress. A fortress in Hebrew can mean a few things but the one meaning that stood out along with His proclamation of it is ‘stronghold.’ In Psalm 18:2 it says this:

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,

my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,

my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my STRONGHOLD.

As night increases and plans ahead, God says, “I will overtake it! For I AM a mighty fortress!”

He also said, “Lazy men, get out of My way!” This is in reference to Matthew 25:24-30:

24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’

26 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, 27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’

28 “Then he ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver. 29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 30 Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

God has placed certain ‘prized investments’ in individuals. These would also be considered assets, a help or support He’s given them (backings), or even a siege (which can also refer to a ‘throne/position’. However, because things were not accomplished rightly (in His way) by certain individuals in those positions, they will be removed. Not only will there be a removal, but also a transferring of what they failed to use for God and instead given to those that did with what they were given according to His ways—even the little that they received (Luke 16:10).

He also said at first (asking certain individuals), “Why, why would you do this? I WARNED YOU.” And then He went onto say, “But instead of Me asking you, you will be asking Me, why, why? “ And I the Lord will say, “Because you have touched My anointed. “ (Ps. 105:15) “No more will you touch My anointed.”

I also heard Him make this statement, “Let this be a lesson.” Now this could be partly in reference to the above words He gave, but I also had gotten that it wasn’t just that. I saw that many will see the greatness of God. And many will need to understand that God is not One to mess around with. This will release great fear over the world. Oftentimes, the term mentioned above means that there is punishment coming for something they have done and its so they will not do it again. There is a great judgement coming upon people that have come against the Lord. And perhaps for some time God has allowed it to seem that they have ‘gotten away’ with it. Well, by no means, not. There is a great chastisement that is coming to those that do not truly believe that God sees all things and knows all things. Some of these chastisements will cause suffering, pain, loss, and disastrous treatment or also no mercy (James 2:13).

There was also a ‘releasing of the horses.’ This is in reference to Zechariah 6. The kingdom is rising and Wisdom is governing over all things and positioning.

He also brought up the word ‘morsel.’ A morsel is often connected to a talent, a piece, or bit of MEAT. He warned with this Scripture:

Heb. 12:16

16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

Esau sold his inheritance for a morsel of meat. In other words, he sold his inheritance for a temporal fix in a time where he felt an ‘overwhelming need’ to satisfy himself. (Gen. 25:29-34) This is also a warning in this hour for not only those continuously in sexual immorality (which God has warned you about that you haven’t walked away from) but also those that are considered immoral in their ways towards God, like a harlot or prostitute with the world over Him alone. Paul spoke of this way as godless. It has nothing to do with God. And not only that, it has placed many in a position of forfeiting their inheritance for a single meal or morsel of gratification. Have you disobeyed just because you wanted what you wanted at the time? Be careful, your reward may only be just that at that time. But when the King shows up, you will ask, “Lord where is this? Why am I not a part of it? Why do I not have?” And He will say, “ I already gave you your reward…what you wanted. You didn’t want Me as your inheritance but that, or those things instead.” Be careful. I see many that will be disappointed for what they thought they’d have but won’t because they did not. The inheritance is Him! Not the things of this world! These things are all temporal. It’s not worth it. (Ps. 16:5-11)

Remember, God hated Esau…yes, God hates the ways of Esau.

Malachi 1:1-5

1 This is a divine revelation. The LORD spoke his word to Israel through Malachi.

2 “I loved you,” says the LORD.

“But you ask, ‘How did you love us?’

“Wasn’t Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the LORD. “I loved Jacob, 3 BUT ESAU I HATED. I turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the jackals in the desert.

4 “The descendants of Esau may say, ‘We have been beaten down, but we will rebuild the ruins.’

“Yet, this is what the LORD of Armies says: They may rebuild, but I will tear it down. They will be called ‘the Wicked Land’ and ‘the people with whom the LORD is always angry.’ 5 You will see these things with your own eyes and say, ‘Even outside the borders of Israel the LORD is great.’

God said the wheat would grow up with the tares (Matt. 13:24-30), or they’d grow up together, closely, even in the same ground. But one, God will love and one, God will hate. This is to show the greatness of God, the Sovereignty of God. The spirit of Esau does not honor the Father nor does it honor the Master. (read further Malachi 1:6-14)
