Feast or Famine
The time has come to uncover who has sat at the banqueting table of the King of kings (Luke 14:15-24) or who has sat at the banqueting table of men of this world, to serve them and their idols (Daniel 5:1-4). The following is commentary from the Lord to two groups of individuals: the ones that are truly His that feasted in His kingdom and to the ones that walk-in harlotry (unfaithfulness) unto God, in addition to claiming His Truth, yet are instead full of the false—the spiritual Babylon. It is clear that Babylon is not ‘cold’ believers by His words, but ones that knew things of the Truth but continued on in their wickedness (therefore exposing their real character—unbelief). God compared them to Belshazzar, knowing the mistakes of the past but desired to go against the Lord, lifting themselves up and not being humbled by His commanded consistent obedience by His Holy Spirit (Daniel 5:22-23). It is clear that the judgment of their ways (Babylon) is the ‘Writing on the Wall,” (Daniel 5:24-28, Daniel 5:30-31).
The words to His that feasted:
The Lord says, “The ones that have been hidden for My purposes, that have been trained up through the fire of testing in Babylon by Me(Daniel 3:3-8), and haven’t defiled themselves with the portion of the ‘kings’ (men’s) delicacies; nor with the wine that appeals to the lusts of their flesh which is mixed with deception and some Truth, leading to harlotry and perverseness of all sorts (Proverbs 23:26-35)—will be shown before all men to be Mine (Daniel 6:21-28; James 4:10; Isaiah 43:1; Revelation 3:9). I have already made them ready before Me (Ephesians 2:10; 2 Timothy 2:21). They have sat with Me and ate bread at the banquet table in the kingdom of God and because of this, I will uncover their lamp for all to see what I have done in them (Mark 4:21-23) and all will know that these have truly been with Me. Therefore, they will continue to feast before Me and their enemies; I have anointed their heads with oil, as I have honored them before Me, the Lord of Hosts (Zechariah 8; Psalm 23:5). I, the Lord of Hosts, have brought honor to My guests that have come truly to the feast of My Son. Their cup will run over and they will now have more than enough in Me. For I have brought these of Mine to My banquet hall by My Spirit and I have raised My banner over them, for they have taken great delight in My ways and sat down under My shade, tasting the sweetness of My fruit , and have found My ways pleasant in Wisdom(Song of Solomon 2:3-4; Revelation 3:20; Hosea 14:4-7; Proverbs 3:13-18).”
The words to those that will experience famine (Belshazzars):
The Lord says, “Many, many, have desired to serve men AND themselves before Me. Am I not the only Living God, which desires that no one serve other gods before Me? Yet you have continued to take from My temple, My people, congregating with others and consuming wine in luxuries of the flesh; honoring gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone. You have mixed wine that has more of the false than of My Truth (Daniel 5:1-4; Revelation 18:1-9); therefore perverting My ways (1 Samuel 8:3; Exodus 23:8; Deuteronomy 16:19). You have made what’s of flesh and called it My Spirit and have taken what’s of My Spirit and compared it to the flesh. Do you not remember that what’s born of flesh is of flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (John 3:6)? And remember, I AM not a man that I should lie, for I have promised through My Son that those that are His will have their flesh crucified (Galatians 5:24). Do you not believe the Power of My Wisdom? For by your passions and desires (deeds, 2 Corinthians 11:15), I have revealed and exposed your true heart intentions, only to be shown that they are of the father of lies because when you speak, you speak from your own resources and the light that resides in you is not truly the Light but is actually a disguise (2 Corinthians 11:14; John 8:44). I AM not a fool and will not be cheated. Do you not know that I have played you for the fool in all your foolishness, allowing you to go on as you do in your wickedness, thinking no mourning or calamity will come upon you?”
“I will not have any of it anymore. For I desire fruitfulness from Me, the only Vine, that produces what is good always(John 15:5)and My wine has been kept by My Son to the end so that I may honor Him (Luke 2:1-11). Little do you know in your foolishness, that I have saved My best for last and have preserved the best wine that’s transformed by Me for the end.”
“You have not cleansed your dwelling place thoroughly according to My Spirit, instead you have allowed every unclean thing to dwell in you, and even encouraged others to dwell in this uncleanness as well! This has caused you to glorify yourselves in luxury and led you to believe you have become ruler of your own heart and its ways (Revelation 18:7). For all these reasons I will allow your plagues to come upon you in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and you will have the fire you so greatly speak of but it will be the burning of it instead that will come, to burn up your unworthy works, for I will judge you (Revelation 18:7-8). You will be heard no more and the light of your lamp will be extinguished. No longer will you be able to speak the voice of the Bridegroom nor the voice of the Bride; for your ways of the merchant (selling my Son, Acts 8:19-21) have made you great among the earth or among men and many are deceived by you; and much blood of My people is found in you (Revelation 18:21-24). Therefore as a result of all this, a famine of hearing My words will come to you and you will stagger this time; not because of strong drink in your festivals of luxury, but because you will not know where to go or what to do. You will seek for Me but will not find Me (Amos 8:11-14). All of you will faint from thirst and know that the only true Life comes from Me and Me alone and not yourselves. And all those that swear by the guilt of Samaria under the guidance of Baal (as that’s how I see it, Jude 1:11) and swear by Dan’s god as living, as the golden calf (represented as monetary means) and going the way of Beersheba(Acts 19:9; Revelation 2:1-2) only to continue to walk in idolatry. I promise you this…you will fall and never rise again.”
The Fall of Babylon and the Breakdown of the Writing on the Wall Daniel 5:25-28:
> Mene—God has numbered your kingdom and finished it.
A man’s days are numbered. You know the number of his months. He cannot live longer than the time You have set.
> Tekel—You have been weighed in the balances and found wanting.
Men have been tested by God and have been harvesting little, wanting more, and not being satisfied with the lot He has given them. They have not considered their ways before the Lord.
Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” 5 Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways!
6 “You have sown much, and bring in little;
You eat, but do not have enough;
You drink, but you are not filled with drink;
You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm;
And he who earns wages,
Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”
7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord.9 “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the Lord of hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. 10 Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. 11 For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
> Peres—your kingdom has been divided and given over to others.
Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. 27 No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.
God will bind the strongman in this hour, from Babylon, and His people will be put on a lampstand so that they may give Light to everyone in the house (Matthew 5:15).
To His True People: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven!
