Don’t you know God is always testing us to see if we do right by obeying His leading? However, it seems and has come to unfortunately, that it’s the other way around… people instead, testing God.

This is when we see how bad it’s become because there’s no real fear of God, therefore no real wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). What do the scriptures say about testing God?

Luke 4:12 Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to test.””

I think it’s pretty clear. The rebellion and lack of fear of God is going to reveal to many that God is not just someone you should put to the test.

Obedience to God is more important than prematurely acting on something without true guidance from the Truth (John 16:13).
