19 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? 20 Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning.
WHY CONSULT THE DEAD ON BEHALF OF THE LIVING??
There’s even deeper context here other than literally consulting mediums and spiritists. There are many listening to people that do not walk in the Light of God and are listening to what they’re saying and believing it. Be careful. Sin is death. If one is walking in sin, they are considered the dead as well, according to God. This is why it’s important to be seeking God in all things right now, not men. You will not get a true answer, only the tainted wine.
29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
Wait for the wine of the kingdom of God. Do not taste any further of this drink. There is betrayal among this covenant (Matt. 26:23-24). God has made a way. Wait for the new wine. The betrayal is being exposed
