The Lord recently showed that He’s about to ‘clean house.’ The idiom means to:  to rid a group or organization that are deemed troublesome or LACKING; to strike one violently; to punish or give a beating.

Proverbs 5:23  For lack of discipline they will die, led astray by their own great folly.

Those that are rejecting the discipline of the Lord, will begin to feel the effects of it and will begin to be brought to nothing.

Psalm 52:5  But God will strike you down once and for all. He will pull you from your home and uproot you from the land of the living.

He will not only pull some from their home, but also what’s comfortable to them or what’s close to them. Eventually, they will be removed.

Psalm 89:23  And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

God will go against those that rise against His anointed ones.  The oppressor will not overcome them and He will strengthen them by His Spirit.
