God is going to allow for some to experience the process of sifting.

Luke 22:31-32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Jesus knew Peter was going to fall because He said he would. Whatever God says is true. But also, Jesus knew that His intercession or prayers would sustain him through it because God prepared him for the fall, something greater was going to come out of it, something all his brothers could benefit from…the strength he’d attain through what God had given him…faith. His faith would help his brothers.

So, do not assume your love for God is undeniable before others, it may have already been tested and shown to fail already. However, God may have a purpose for it, in order to reveal His gift of faith.
