God is saying to make sure your lamps are full—that is you’re filled by the Holy Spirit, in obedience in all that you do at this time. This will be your only RSVP to the banquet. The demand isn’t strong to do this. Don’t be a fool and squander your time wasting it on not getting prepared. This life is passing away. Not all are prepared, making sure they have everything to sustain them. The Lord is the only One that can sustain you (Ps.54:4). He is the ALL (1 Cor.15:28; Eph. 1:23; Col. 3:5-17).
