This is an interesting article…notice the title, “World’s Biggest Wheat Supply Dries Up When Some Want it Most.” There is a message God is getting at. Wheat is often associated with ‘good seed’ (Matt. 12:24-30). However, it shows that the world is going to ‘dry up’ its ‘wheat supply.’ To dry up means to cease talking.
21 Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said:
“With such violence
the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again.
22 The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters,
will never be heard in you again.
No worker of any trade
will ever be found in you again.
The sound of a millstone
will never be heard in you again.
23 The light of a lamp
will never shine in you again.
The voice of bridegroom and bride
will never be heard in you again.
Your merchants were the world’s important people.
By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
24 In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people,
of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”
And, the world’s ‘wheat supply’ is actually considered the tares. Why? Because it’s of the world, not of the Spirit. What the world perceives as the good seed is actually not. God is about to expose this by ceasing their voices. However, God will not dry up His actual good seed, or His actual wheat, in the coming days. They are not of this world.
John 17:16 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
The burning up of the tares (the world’s wheat) will be done, but God’s storehouse will be full.
Matt. 13:30 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”
Gen. 41:49 Thus Joseph stored up grain in great abundance like the sand of the sea, until he stopped measuring it, for it was beyond measure
The famine is coming. Not on His that are not of this world, but those that have become one with the world and its ways.
