The word ‘extraction’ has come up several times over the past few days. The Lord is speaking. I see many connections with this word.
The Lord is about to draw out or forth His people from among the earth.
John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
This drawing out may be done forcibly, from a fixed position. These are individuals that are not usually considered ‘subject to change’ their views on things. Perhaps they have been stubborn/inflexible in their ways for so long. He’s going to withdraw them by expression or also an UTTERANCE.
Acts 2:4 – And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
2 Pet. 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Extraction can also mean ‘pluck out.’ The Lord is about to pluck His out of the net as in:
Ps. 25:15 Mine eyes [are] ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
The net is also in reference to fowler, one who snares a bird (Ps. 91:2-3). In Biblical times, a fowler’s net was suspended above the capture zone by using branches of a tree. Once the bird was lured into the zone, often with bait or decoys, the net would fall on them. The bird was then trapped. I see that there have been many of God’s people that have been caught in THIS net. These individuals were led away from principalities working from above, in higher places, where His people have not learned to see them yet—major strongholds, even among the ‘branches’. The Lord is tearing down strongholds in this hour (2Cor.10:4; Isa. 25:11). These strongholds have used hosts to draw attention away from the Lord, these ‘decoys.’ God is removing them in this hour. The bait used towards His people have been: persecution, oftentimes to exasperate with unjust, malicious, or persistent attacks/tease/mocking/harassment/and or biting or tearing (Ps. 7:2).
In the Hebrew context, extract means to strain, clarify, fine, pour down, purge, purify, refine. I see the Lord allowing these processes to occur among those He draws out. Whatever needs to be sorted out with Him, clarified about Him and Who He is, will be done. Impurities will be removed/ purged from them. Refinement will be the product of all this (Zech. 13:9; 1 Pet. 1:7; Prov. 17:3).
The Lord says, “Come out!” (2Cor. 6:14-18; Isa. 52:11; Rev. 18:4)
