See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
Unfortunately, MANY are falling short of the grace of God because of a root of bitterness they’ve never dealt with. Bitterness leads to unforgiveness. What’s Jesus say about unforgiveness?
But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Jesus clearly said God will not forgive you. Be careful, this is a trap that’s causing many to stumble and fall from the grace of God, and yes you can fall from grace. It says clearly in the Scriptures.
Paul said in Hebrews 10:26-31 that if you DELIBERATELY continue to walk in sin (including bitterness), there’s no sacrifice for sins left and ONLY the fearful expectation of judgement and fire from God. That means Jesus can’t save you! Your deliberate choice has put you on that course for judgement. This is hard to hear for many but it’s the Truth. God doesn’t lie.
Hebrews 10:26-31 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Do not get entangled in civilian affairs! Those that are truly being led do not (2Tim.2:4). Please God in this hour not man and his ways of sin.
