The term ‘fire sale’ has been coming up often in the Spirit. Looking into this more, it refers to a sale of goods remaining after the destruction of commercial premises by fire or a sale of goods of assets at a very low price, which can be associated with a possibility of bankruptcy. In addition, the collateral is ‘valued’ at fire sale rates (hear what is being said here). Their ‘security’ is valued at fire sale rates.
Fire sales are coming up all over in these days, but there’s something symbolic in all of this, which the Lord is showing. This is the chaff being burnt up.
His winnowing fork is in His hand to clear His threshing floor and to gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
6 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”
God is removing what can be shaken. This is to expose what stands; WHO stands with a continual burning, dwells on the heights with Him, and is impregnable [one who is unable to be captured by darkness]
(Isa. 33:10-17, 20)
I hear the Lord saying that these ‘sales’ are considered of value to many (their treasures). This is what they put their security in or value themselves by as well…the stubble (Isa. 33:11). I kept getting the term ‘inflammation’ with all this. There is a great swelling/discomfort/distress/anguish/suffering/pang coming as a result of merchandising (also referred to as sale). This merchandising has caused many to betray the Lord (Matt. 26:14-16—thirty pieces of silver at that time was considered a days’ wages, Zech. 11:12-14).
Rev. 6:6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
The fire is LIT! The famine is here…hear what the Spirit is saying.
